Ian Readman
Co-Founder and Non-Executive Chairman

Ian possesses a rare combination of proven business acumen, market vision and commitment to customer service. As a pioneer in the development of innovative virtualisation and online services, he set up Intercept in 2002. Since then, the company has grown rapidly, gaining accreditation with global vendors such as Microsoft, Citrix, VMware, and HP. Understanding the IT challenges faced by small and medium-sized businesses, Ian co-developed Intercept's onlınedesktop™. This innovative, subscription-based software-as-a-service solution was one of the first of its kind in the UK. Ian has 25 years’ commercial experience and started out developing engineering quality assurance systems for the oil and gas industry. Ian also featured in the Courvoisier Future 500 list of the country's top achievers.
Richard Gilder
CEO

A prolific investor, Richard holds executive and non-executive directorships for a number of technology firms, including Intercept where he is a significant shareholder. He brings over twenty years experience running successful businesses in sectors as diverse as property and technology. Most recently, Richard established a value added distributor for Citrix and server-based computing solutions. He is a fervent believer in the power of people and technology to transform business operations to reduce costs and improve productivity, and is a relentlessly positive change agent within Intercept.
Gary Collins
Co-Founder and CIO

Based on Gary’s technical vision, Intercept has become an industry leader in virtualisation, unified communications and online services. As Chief Information Officer, he has created a family of innovative, award-winning online and virtualisation services that are a generation ahead of their competitors. In addition, he oversees all aspects of product strategy, service delivery and vendor selection. Gary is a non-executive director of Independent Transport Associates Limited and sits on the Easynet Customer Advisory Board. Before co-founding Intercept, Gary worked at Corporate IT Limited and Netforce - which is now part of Thus plc. He started his twenty year career in technology at Polygram as a business analyst and programmer.
Nigel Woods
Technical Director

Nigel is an expert in virtualisation technologies, having designed some of the UK’s largest Citrix implementations. With an ICT career spanning 24 years, Nigel is Fellow of the British Computer Society (FBCS). He sits on the Citrix Technical Council and has led successful virtualisation projects at Carphone Warehouse, Linklaters, The Atomic Weapons Establishment, Amey, TXU Europe, Savills Property, Sony Music, and a number of other private and public sector organisations. Before joining Intercept, Nigel worked at Corporate IT and Getech. He specialises in methodologies that transfer knowledge effectively to Intercept’s clients, which have become a cornerstone of our compelling, customer-centric approach.
Will Brooks
Operations Director

Will’s astonishing professional achievements are built on his core values of honesty, integrity and hard work. He joins Intercept from specialist distributor IQ-Sys, where he was General Manager and Director of Sales for the past four years. A focused team builder, he works well under pressure, and helped shape IQ-Sys to become a £26m business and the UK’s number one Citrix partner. He is a firm believer that you make your own luck in life, and takes huge satisfaction from helping others achieve their goals. A keen sportsman, Will played rugby at a high level including representing Oxfordshire at Twickenham, but has now diverted his passion to the more civilised game of golf.

Senior Management Team >

As you would expect, we needed an enormous amount of data storage due to the size of the files we work with. Intercept’s hosted solution enabled us to grow without increased storage costs. What really impressed us was the fact that the entire solution took a matter of days to be up and running.
