Ian Readman Co-Founder and Non-Executive Chairman Ian possesses a rare combination of proven business acumen, market vision and commitment to customer service. As a pioneer in the development of innovative virtualisation and online services, he set up Intercept in 2002. Since then, the company has grown rapidly, gaining accreditation with global vendors such as Microsoft, Citrix, VMware, and HP. Understanding the IT challenges faced by small and medium-sized businesses, Ian co-developed Intercept's onlınedesktop™. This innovative, subscription-based software-as-a-service solution was one of the first of its kind in the UK. Ian has 25 years’ commercial experience and started out developing engineering quality assurance systems for the oil and gas industry. Ian also featured in the Courvoisier Future 500 list of the country's top achievers.
Hans Middelburg Non-Executive Director Hans holds executive and advisory roles at several companies and has over 20 years experience and proven success as a leader in the technology field. His talent is in his inherent ability to grow companies and transform them from the inside out into substantially lucrative and strong brands. Most notably he served as CEO of RES Software for 4 years, during which time he grew the company from a 20 employee organisation into a highly profitable, international company with over 100 staff.
Ron Grevink Marketing Director
Ron brings more than 25 years of product marketing and pre-sales experience in the IT industry. Prior to joining Intercept IT, he was Vice President of Marketing for RES Software, where he successfully managed international marketing activities that helped to turn the company into a well-known, global organisation. Prior to that, he held product marketing positions at Attachmate and WRQ. He currently holds a number of advisory positions for companies such as Trinoco in the Netherlands and is also the CEO at Semper Software.
Nigel Woods Technical Strategist and Director Nigel is an expert in virtualisation technologies, having designed some of the UK’s largest Citrix implementations. With an ICT career spanning 24 years, Nigel is Fellow of the British Computer Society (FBCS). He sits on the Citrix Technical Council and has led successful virtualisation projects at Carphone Warehouse, Linklaters, The Atomic Weapons Establishment, Amey, TXU Europe, Savills Property, Sony Music, and a number of other private and public sector organisations. Before joining Intercept, Nigel worked at Corporate IT and Getech. He specialises in methodologies that transfer knowledge effectively to Intercept’s clients, which have become a cornerstone of our compelling, customer-centric approach.
