Expert in Virtual IT achieves Gold
Wednesday, December 10, 2008
Virtual IT infrastructure specialist Intercept has achieved the prestigious VMware Authorised Consultant (VAC) Gold Partner status. The Gold VAC Partner status is the top tier of the program and is only awarded to partners who develop and deploy highly complex solutions in collaboration with VMware.

Ian Readman, Chief Executive of Intercept says the award is recognition for the Company’s outstanding work. “We are delighted to have been awarded this accreditation at a time when virtualisation is becoming paramount for businesses of all sizes”.

Readman continues, “It’s testimony to the hard work and dedication of the staff at Intercept and our close collaboration with VMware. We now have a unique offering in the marketplace, enabling us to expand opportunities for joint marketing efforts, as well as continuing to build on our reputation with customers and partners”.

Reza Malekzadeh Senior Director of Products and Marketing, EMEA of VMware said: “Intercept is a great example of the value VMware brings to clients with the help of its partners. Customers know that VMware offers world-class technology but it really adds value to their business when a team such as that at Intercept add their insight and expertise to craft a customised solution. We are delighted to award this status to Intercept”.

VAC partners are qualified to offer VMware-certified consulting services as well as the entire range of VMware products. The Gold Partner status also provides the opportunity to deliver enterprise solutions in collaboration with VMware’s own Professional Services division.

Reza also continues to say the award is well deserved. “We’re delighted Intercept has achieved the VAC Gold Partner status. It’s a dynamic operation that offers companies of all sizes expertise in gaining the rewards of virtualised technologies” says Malekzadeh.

He added, “Intercept’s services and expertise have the ability to radically reduce costs, improve user performance and increase business agility for companies of all sizes. We look forward to continuing our successful partnership with them and collaborating to deliver virtualisation 2.0: the virtual data-centre operating system”.
