Will Brooks

Will’s astonishing professional achievements are built on his core values of honesty, integrity and hard work. He joins Intercept from specialist distributor IQ-Sys, where he was General Manager and Director of Sales for the past four years. A focused team builder, he works well under pressure, and helped shape IQ-Sys to become a £26m business and the UK’s number one Citrix partner. He is a firm believer that you make your own luck in life, and takes huge satisfaction from helping others achieve their goals. A keen sportsman, Will played rugby at a high level including representing Oxfordshire at Twickenham, but has now diverted his passion to the more civilised game of golf.

Martin Bond
Head of Unified Communications

Martin Bond

Martin is a co-founder of Intercept and now leads the unified communications and IP telephony division. He was instrumental in the launch of ADS Portal's hosted subscription online services. During his twenty years in the industry, Martin has worked for a number of value-added distributors and specialist IT resellers, primarily in the area of emerging technologies. He has extensive experience of converged voice and data solutions and fixed and mobile communications technologies. Martin started his career developing research resources for the Microbiology department at Reading University.

Gary Staples
Head of Services

Gary Staples

With over twenty years’ experience, Gary is responsible for the successful delivery of Intercept’s professional services. He has led the development of web tools that give customers and field engineers access to the latest technical information. In addition, Gary also directed activities which improve technical support for customers and deliver first-time-fix rates of more than 90 percent. Before joining Intercept, Gary was the enterprise support group manager at SCC. He held similar positions at CompelSource, Info’Products and Granada Computer Services.

Lee Aldwinckle
Head of Online Services

Lee Aldwinckle

Lee is responsible for developing and delivering Intercept’s online services and service assurance programmes. As an ITIL service management qualified professional (or ‘red badge’), he also leads quality assurance initiatives within the firm. Lee has held supplier and client side IT management roles within world-class organisations such as HSBC, T-Mobile, Centrica and the Associated Press Television News. He is a skilled Prince II practitioner, and has previously been trained as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), a Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA), a Checkpoint Certified Security Engineer (CCSE). Lee loves music and is a DJ in his spare time. He runs the internet radio station www.citysoulanthems.com.

James Cox
Head of Marketing

James Cox

James has fifteen years of marketing experience in the IT industry. Most recently, he worked for a technology start-up, increasing sales of its subscription computing and IP telephony services by 80 percent in just nine months. Previously, James led product marketing activities at Toshiba where he delivered significant growth in market share and gross margin, launched IP telephony in the UK and rationalised their supply chain. Formerly, James spent nine years at Nortel Networks where he held a number of positions across product, channel and solutions marketing. He started his career at BAe Systems where he was sponsored through his BSc (Hons) Computer Science and Business degree.

Andrew Acton
Vendor Relationship Manager

Andrew Acton

Andrew is responsible for managing Intercept’s relationships with its technology partners. As a seasoned manager with both operational and extensive sales experience, he drives Intercept’s partnerships to deliver maximum value for all stakeholders. Previously Andrew was sales manager for ADS Portal’s online services, the application delivery solutions provider acquired by Intercept in June 2008. Andrew brings over twenty years of commercial experience in sales from organisations such as Centia now DNS, and SCC.

Gemma Tucker
Financial Controller

Gemma Tucker

Gemma is responsible for evolving Intercept’s financial management and reporting. With a finance career spanning fourteen years, she brings a wealth of experience from similar finance management roles at Genesis Telecommunications and the Royal Society of the Arts. Gemma started her career as the sales ledger clerk at the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators. She is an experienced financial system developer having implemented accounting systems from scratch using Microsoft Visual Basic, SQL, and Crystal Reports.
